So after moving in 9 of my dreamies and plotting them nicely, it was just a case of moving out that last starting villager to make room for my 10th dreamie, already in boxes. After 4 hours of TT'ing, every other villager had asked to leave at least 3 times. Julian and Flurry asked 6 times each. It was getting really frustrating, but I kept on at it so determined to get Gabi out. Within the next hour she finally left! I felt so relieved. And happy, I can finish my town with all dreamies obtained. Has any one else felt like this?

I have never TT'd for a villager, but pretty much with all the ugly ones (Looking at you, Diva and Greta) came a lot of happiness.

After i got Pinky out I ran around the neighborhood like rocky balboa

Aww, I like Gabi, I think she's a cutie. I'm glad you got her out though.

I had this feeling just a few days ago getting Joey out.

I know I'll be feeling the same as you when I get Keaton out. When he first asked me to leave, I said no because the choice to have him leave made me feel bad -- the way it was written, made it sound like I'm being a cold, heartless person or something; I did want him to leave, but yeah... This was when I talked to him just about as much as I talked to everyone else. Later on, I was kicking myself for letting him stay so I tried to make him leave by ignoring him, hitting him with the toy hammer, burying pitfalls in front of him (half of the time with another character); but none of them got him to bring up moving again. I looked up different methods of making villagers leave, and the last one I tried before I got him to tell me he was thinking about moving; was giving him the wrong order of coffee at Brewster's. If that was what contributed, it took maybe a week or two (I can't remember how long; it could have been less). When the choice for him to move or stay came up, with my mayor, I told him to move; later, when I was looking at villagers I'd want to be in my town and then at the public works projects -- who suggests what ones, I realized that the PWPs that I wanted for my town could only be suggested by smug villagers. '-_-. So, I had my other character convince him to stay. Since then, he thought about leaving again, but I still had to decline <.<. I wanted the Sphinx and pyramid and even with them now, I still have some more I want him to suggest even if I don't use them. So, all of that effort for nothing T_T. When I do get all of the suggestions and then say yes to him asking me about leaving, I'll probably do a happy dance or something lol.

Yup, definitely know how you feel. Every time I was one villager away from having all 10 of my dreamies, someone always came in and ruined it... Diva and Sylvia were so hard to move out because of that. Wifi and streetpass ruins everything... Plus they moved on top of my cherry trees and hybrids so that took forever to regrow and breed again.

Then on top of everything else, when I did get everyone, I messed up plot resetting Rod and so I had to search for another dreamie and do it all over again. I was so happy when I finally got Cousteau to move in, although it took 2 days to plot him I was so relieved by the end.

Congratulations on getting your dreamie town though! c: it's gonna be smooth sailing after all that

Dealing with this now...I actually had to come up with an elaborate plan to move around perma-villagers so I can get Diva and Rizzo out.

This would be impossible if I didn't play three towns.

This is currently me, since I just heard Stinky's moving out. Finally. Thank God. I don't need your icky jockness in my town: as Holmes says that one time, my field never extends into amateur sport. :<

(ugh I couldn't be more Sherlock Holmes trash if I tried)

Gwen was the final survivor of my ethnic cleansing to get rid of any villager that wasn't a cat. It took a lot of time traveling to do it, but I eventually won the war of attrition and vanquished her.
