I have loads of weeds in my town and I had a wisp lamp, I use it, click on weeds and when I go outside the weeds are still there.
I save and restart and the weeds are still there.

I didn't say use wisp to pick weeds, I said pick them yourself. I takes 30 minutes at most if there is not too many of them. Next time you get wisp get an item instead so you can fill your catalog quicker, but don't get furniture because you can get over 8 pieces a day meaning you can fill out your furniture by buying from nooks instead..
