Hey, well I have been trying out the map editor and have a map about done, it physically works right now, just gotta make it look pretty, and maybe add some stairs and second floors to a couple of buildings.

So anyway I was hoping to figure out if anyone here plays TF2 and would be interested in helping me test out the map when it is ready. Woot, peace out

Team Fortress 2, one of the best multiplayer games ever. Comes with the Orange Box.

I could test it out, I'm online most times of the day, just ask me on steam sometime and I'll most likely be able to.

awesome I will post here when I have it up and ready, hopefully it will work fine.

Cool, I was going to make a TF2 map once, but It was to much work so I just made a portal map

:P

God, it is the first online game I've really gotten into. It and Cod4. Add me.

My steamid is JJRamone

I have some questions. First, can I buy TF2 for the computer by itself? No portal and such?

The rest of the questions depend on the answer to this one.

Yep, you need to get steam and a steamID if you don't already have one, and all the games in the orange box are in the store, TF2 is for $30 alone. It'll download the game to your computer.

Good. My next questions are on the graphics, memory, and stuff needed. How can I check about mine? And how much would the required ones cost?

select Team Fortress 2 from the dropdown, and hit the button. It'll analyze your specs (don't worry, no viruses or anything) and tell you if your specs meet up to the requirement.

it says my video card isn't good enough, but it works fine on my computer. I have an ATI X200 so it says that about just about every test xD

:o no way it says my PC can run Crysis.... wow... I didn't think that w possible, it runs a little low with BioShock... although I guess Crysis can't be that much better...

I want to upgrade my cpu and get a second video card... then I pass the recommended part!

There are 5 things wrong so I can't run it.

One of them is computer speed and they recommend buying a new computer.

If I do do this, what will happen to my itunes and all the purchased music (from itunes) on it?

I think that there is a way to transfer your itunes library, I don't remember where I saw it, but I think it was on the apple site somewhere.

If you are going to buy a new computer be careful what you buy, I can help review specs if needed!

really the computer speed Is the processor, and if you know what you are doing you could replace that, but chances are you would be better off just buying an entirely new computer.... I would personally get parts separately but I know not everyone know how to do that stuff

:P

depending on a lot of things such as whether you need a new screen or not you should be able to get a really good PC for 700ish... although this is a guestimate and could be overlooking something...

My dad reads computer manuals (all of it >.<) and has built his own so I'll give him a call about it.
