tell me about your best multiplayer new horizons experiences! <3

hi! i remember a couple days (weeks?) back, there were some posts about the ac community changing and about how people were seeing a lot of greed/rudeness in trading/visiting in general, and i remember i also agreed with a lot of these sentiments. however, the past couple days, i've met so many kind people who've really gone out of their way to be kind and share and have fun, and i wanted to maybe make a thread where we could share some of the best and kindest experiences we've had in the acnh community?

i'll talk about a couple things!:

- a couple days back, @Megia adopted sherb out to me for free, and i'm so thankful because i was ready to either pay an arm and a leg and my first born child for him or a ton of nmt to search for him on the islands, but she really pulled through and i'm so thankful!
- a big thank you to @Es0teric and @jleej3rkgirl for being so kind and giving me extras w my orders ;; going to make gold rose crowns for all my villagers ;;;;
- this morning, someone in one of the smaller animal crossing discord servers i'm in was asking if anyone wanted tambourines, and she was just inviting people over and giving them out for free, all wrapped up. it was just really sweet and made me happy
- i was letting people in to catalog a white grand piano this morning for free (please pm me if you're interested haha!), and each and every person who came over was so respectful and kind, and i felt really safe just letting them explore and shop. it was such a nice feeling!

i hope the people i tagged are ok w me doing so! i just wanted to acknowledge all the kindness, and i hope everyone on this forum/playing this game has really sweet experiences like these and wants to pass it on and do kind things for others too!

anyway! was just really thankful- i'd love to read about your positive multiplayer experiences too!

during one of my first nh trades, someone gave me a gift for free and it was a bag! it was also the first bag i got so its extra special to me aha

i also had someone give me about 30 hybrids in exchange for a diy (they really wanted the flowers gone lmao) which i thought was really nice of them!

i’ve also received a few compliments on my island layout/name and my character which mean a lot to me as i never really got compliments in new leaf (with good reason, honestly lmao)

i made a p goof friend through new horizons! when i first started out i used reddit a lot for cataloging reasons and just island hopping in general, he was at the persons we were visiting island and we bonded p well! we talk on discord daily now and we have a lot of personal topics we can relate on
i've also made other really good friends too !

When I helped my friend out with opening her turnip spike to the public, so many generous and kind people came! I took a few pictures with them but I don't know if they'd be okay with me posting the pictures lol (Especially since I dont remember their names)

I gave away Stella to someone today, they were so polite and kind to me, they were so excited to get Stella which really warmed my heart!
I didn't ask for anything in return but they turned up at my island and tipped me 10 NMT and purple, blue, & black hybrid flowers (exactly the kinds I needed!), it was a wonderful multiplayer experience!

I'm also incredibly blessed because not even half an hour ago I was gifted Monique; my favourite villager! It feels incredible to have her at last, strangers can be so kind~

A few days ago someone on here asked for some help cleaning up their island (moving flowers/trees to the beach) so they could terraform. I was pretty bored so I offered and ended up spending a while there. It was just super fun doing something kind of boring but working together to move everything. They asked what I wanted for payment but given I have more than enough bells I just wanted to take some hybrids home.

I've been having a lot of fun playing ACNH with one of my friends!

I also started trading for the first time recently and I've run into lots of super nice people. I had someone send me a message on Discord asking me if I was still looking for an item on my wishlist because they have one and they were super friendly (I gave them a tip because I really appreciate how friendly they were).

I've also been having people who were willing to give me a ridiculous amount of bells for relatively cheap items, and I was just like "wow? Really? No way!". One person even left me a tip of an extra 5,000 bells and one of the fruit crafting recipes! I was so stunned!

I also ran into a person who was willing to give me Ruby (given, I offered 100k and 10 NMT, but they weren't asking outrageous prices for her so I was happy to spend extra) and they were so nice.

Pretty much everyone I've run into has been really nice and I just appreciate it so much, especially because I was nervous about trading since I'm new to it and was expecting people to be kinda... harsh?

I’ve opened up my town for people to visit for various reasons, and done a lot of trading. So many people have been extraordinarily friendly, kind, and also very patient whenever issues came up that caused delays & such. And some have left feedback that genuinely warmed my heart~

I opened my gates to let people visit Celeste but I couldn't make a turnips.exchange queue and giving out dodo codes in DM really tires me, so I just put the code on the original post.
I had like 20 people coming. No fee, but I asked for woods and stones as a tip. I think everyone gave a stack, some gave stacks of both! I only finished my island because of this.
Also, I didn't really bother checking on what they were doing, because I was playing with one of the strangers of hitting each others heads with a net lmao.
After everyone was gone, I checked everything. Not one single fruit was taken, all the turnips and DIYS in my house were there (I forgot to close it), I still had limited items at the store. It was insane! And a lot of fun too.

I always appreciate the small gesture when someone I'm trading with gives me permission to check out the shops and stuff

Mines is rather personal than trading but I get to have dates with my BF. We're in a LDR so it's difficult to meet. Though we get to spend time with each other and go out on dates in our islands! Even tho there's Covid and we're miles apart, we still kinda feel together there in a way.

Trading-wise, mad props to the seller who entrusted me Raymond and willing to sit through 16 hours worth of carrying bells to his island. He could've just scammed me midway but he stayed true to his words. I'm glad I got Raymond from him.
