Some people do that for more visibility. If there's an increment rule then people have to post more, bumping the thread. If she didn't say Min.Increment, then it's safe to say she might mean increment is 50tbt only.
Though one can't be sure til she comes back and clears up what she means.

I think it's nicer and makes the auction more interesting to have a specific increment.
Gives more people a chance to participate.

Sorry for the confusion guys. I meant minimum increments of at least 50. But since it was confusing, lets say its minimum increments of 50 starting from this point onwards. So high bid, i think, is 900? Editing my original post.
