Still no hybrids, but I’m not giving up hope! Should I buy more flowers? Does it help to have more flowers in our line up?

Yes, if you can create more pairs it will definitely help!! For example, the red rose next to the white rose won’t actually breed anything! Look at the OP for the possible breeding pairs, you want two red roses touching each other (next to or above/below or diagonal) to get pink or black, or two white roses touching to get a purple.
I’d be happy to lend you some older roses if you like, I have some from 2023 that would fit between your black roses and your sakuras.

now i’ve gotten a gold rose i’m having a hard time deciding on what to prioritise for the last day of the event. i suppose it only makes sense to focus on sakuras, since they’re the lovely new treat! i was gonna yap on about how i want a lily of the valley so bad but at this point i think i should just take my gold rose and run with it - perhaps my 3rd favourite collectible i ever had (behind my snow and moon bunny ofc)
