Here's my entry for the egg decoration category a Moonlight Faberge Egg. I've always wanted to make a Faberge styled egg ever since the fourth egg decorating contest so I went on going for it this year. so I did decorate the egg in that style.
Here's the version with the name card in it.
Materials:
Originally, i was about to make the egg Magolor themed because egg (get it?). But I've noticed that the ear tips and details are kind of rough and crude so I scrapped the nearly finished product for a new one since I've bought two styrofoam eggs.
Since i was kind if aiming on submitting before the deadline, i just went for moon/galaxy themed Faberge egg as it's main theme. I used dress pins as the decoration along with hot glue for the frame and intricate details. Hot glue had potential in bringing in the 3d effects plus it is faster and easier to deal with than the air dry clay since they take longer to manage.
The white paint pretty much dried up so I used my white paint marker for the stars + moon details.
And that's it for the bonus commentary.
