Your the wrong person to be doing this, [Nook].
As long as it works.
But it doesn't. It's not working. At all.
Explain how.
1) None of these are memes.
2) Only about three or four people use the (u), (y), or (u n).
3) That badger badger song is as much of a meme as Magical Trevor is. Those were big maybe about... five or six years ago. No one ever uses them or even speaks of them here. 4) The Blog Tree is pretty much the only actual "meme" used on here, but it doesn't deserve its own thread.
5) Stuff like "Fix'd" "inb4lock" "Old'd" and even the "lrn2" aren't memes. Internet vocabulary, yes. Memes, no.

1) B,B,B is
2) BS
3) B,B,B Is a meme.
4) It doesn't have it's own thread.
5) True.

They're memes exclusive to TBT, well, most of them.

And Badger Badger Badger was just an example.

Not on TBT. I've seen it maybe... once on here. It wouldn't constitute as a TBT meme.

After he said he forgot it. Regardless, this won't work out. Many people frown upon "memes" here. They're either shot down or ignored. Memes also go by quickly. They'll be here one week and gone the next, such as the "Imma let you finish" and Antoine Dodson.

>implying popular abbreviations are memes

Lol.

The Badger Badger song is totally a meme, albeit old. Being old makes it no less of a meme. Being a meme is like getting a platinum record, once reached you have that status, and nothign after will take it away.

but yeah, the "memes" listed here I don't think are memes, just slang, or grammer, or abbreviations. Meme was originally supposed to be about any amount of small cultural data... but the way it is used now just means it became popular to a viral proportion at some point in time on the internet.

Again, these are about "TBT memes" of which are exclusive on TBT or are used on TBT, but also the rest of the internet.

And some newbies are new to the internet, and they don't know what to do.

Call them what you will, I would have found this very useful when I first joined. Good idea [Nook], keep adding things to this, even things as obvious as "Brb" "wubu2". Anything that someone new to a forum/the internet would not be able to work out the meaning of.

I wouldn't consider these memes...just TBT's use of grammar.
They're commonly used around here, so I'd consider them memes.
Could you stop posting stuff you know nothing about?

Then why do I have a whole post about them?
Oh well if you post it, it must be true.
