Buying Tattoo Design Help! (Urgent)

I wouldn't mind helping, but I've already drawn for you and I'm not sure how you would feel if I did it again? Haha!

I feel bad for you; I read all the past stuff that happened and that was so stupid. Sorry about the butts. And your grandma. :c

I would love if you would try this! xD I love your art and I definitely wouldn't mind you doing more for me ^-^

I was going to suggest you post in The Museum but you already thought of that and received some good replies. If your profile is correct then you must have already received parental approval. I'm sorry for your loss and it will take time to come to grips with it. There are so many talented artists here and just be happy with your choice.

Thank you for the support! And, yes, I have received my parents approval. It took a bit of convincing, but they agreed that it was for a good cause so it would be worth it ^-^

Some of the stuff on this thread is unnecessarily rude. Wanting to see what tattoo designs TBT'ers could come up with isn't a crime, guys.

I'm so sorry about your grandmother, I hope everything will be alright. Hope you get some good designs!

Thank you so much! I'm glad to see the supportive side of this forum ;w;

Hi katiegurl - I am sorry to hear about your loss. I admire that you want to do something to remember and in honor of your grandmother. As for the comments about getting designs here over letting a tattoo artist do the design. My tattoo was done for a special person/reason as well. And the artist was a friend of my son's. During a picnic I had mentioned that I wanted to get one, and began to describe what I wanted when I was done she handed me her sketchpad and asked is this what you had in mind.....and it was. I asked her if I could use it, she said yes. I began looking for a place to get it done (I lived in Germany at the time), found a place and they used her design. I think any tattoo artist will be open to using a design you bring in. I also as the tattoo artist to included her initials to give credit to the artist.

Thank you so much! Also, thank you for the advice. If I do use one of the designs made by someone on here, then I will definitely include their initials! But, I'm not even sure what im going to use yet :3 I might end up going with the tattoo artists design. Who knows! Lol

I'm so sorry for you! if I could draw, I would help to make designs! Hope you find what you are looking for and need!

Thank you! :D

Sorry for stalking you Katiegurl ( I'm not actually trying to seem creepy hahaha )
But gosh, this is an incredibly thoughtful idea and I'm still so very sorry for your loss, I can't imagine having to deal with the pain of that.

As to the topic that people have been bombarding you with unnecessarily? What they say is actually the recipe for disaster. My mother is very close friends with people who do tattoos as I am myself, and the tattoo artist would prefer you to have a basic idea of what you want before hand. This is YOUR body and a piece of art that is going to be on you for the rest of your life ( unless you get it removed then you just wasted money haha;; ) and thus, you do want to think more on it and get various ideas...Rather than going to someone ( no matter how experienced they are ) settling for something, only to think of a better idea afterwards and regretting the one you already have.

My mother is COVERED in tattoos and she greatly regrets her first ones BECAUSE she just went straight to the tattoo artist and told them what she wanted and settled.

It's so much better to have drawn out ideas....And perhaps if you like several ideas from two different pieces, your tattoo artist can THEN work their magic.

I don't understand why a vast majority is being so rude to you about it when in actuality, you're doing the SMART thing?

I may try to see if I can whip something up, but I can't make any promises. v_v

I don't know much about tattoos but aren't
those people wrong? don't you have to have a photos of what you want before they
give you a temp. tattoo?

anyways, I'll make you one because I need to start practicing with flowers,
sorry about your loss, rip Nina ♥

Ahhh thank you so much for this post ;-; You described the whole reason why I want a few ideas better than I ever could heh. It took me a bit of convincing myself to work up the courage to get a tattoo since I have an irrational fear of needles xD So, I do want to see a few designs before I choose my final one, I'll probably end up taking bits and pieces from each design someone makes me to hopefully make one perfect thing :3

Yes, you are actually supposed to have concept art before you actually consult with the tattooist, just so they have at least a vague idea of what you are looking for :3

But, thank you so much for the kind words and your consideration to make something <3 What would you like for doing this?

You don't need to pay me anything, really.
As, this probably won't look very good.
But, if you seem to actually like what I
did after I post it, I would definitely appreciate
some tbt.
