Tarantulas just will not spawn!

For the last couple nights I have been tarantula hunting. But none ever spawn and I don't know why, I walk around town look, save and continue and repeat but one never spawns. Any ideas to help? Thanks!

I can never find them either. I have only seen them twice. The first time it ran away before I could process it was a tarantula. The second time, Isabelle was in the damn way, I missed the swing (hitting her) and then got bit.

I usually get Tarantula/Scorpion spawns in areas without many trees/flowers/etc., so if you have any open areas in your town, I'd try there. I also seem to have good luck getting them to spawn in cobblestone areas, such as the town plaza and in front of ReTail. ReTail is nice since you can just walk in and out to reset bug spawns. They also seem to really like appearing in front of my house, but that might just be me.

If you end up walking all around town, don't forget to scare/catch other bugs so that new ones can spawn.

I actually just caught one a couple of minutes ago, lol. But yes, I rarely ever see them. I think I've only seen two or three over the course of playing the game.

I'm always finding tarantulas lol. I hate them and don't want to see any..They're usually near buildings like Re-Tail or town hall, so you should check near them c:
