How do I get rid of this tan on my character? I cant really stay under an umbrella all the time cause I go to the island a lot to catch sharks and bugs, so need to be holding my tools...

Wear a large-brimmed hat and long sleeves and pants and you should be good.

You can also use cucumber and lemon packs. I've been using them and haven't gotten tanned. I read somewhere that they accelerate the loss of a tan but I'm not sure if that's true in NL.

If you're wearing a hat with a brim, then there is no need to be wearing long sleeves and pants. Besides, your character will do the sweating animation when they leave the house with the long sleeves on.

You can find which hats prevent tanning by looking at Liquefy's faq and Ctrl+F find "tanning season". He has a huge list there.
