Tammy Gave Me Her Photo!

I’m really excited! She was one of my starter villagers, and she really grew on me. I was really worried I wouldn‘t have space for it, but it turns out you have the option to hang villager photos on walls. Definitely helpful, because the posters are So Big, and this is a more tasteful (lol) way to show my villager appreciation in areas where I don’t have surface space.

I gift my villagers daily but not necessarily gift-wrapping, talk to them daily and write letters (but occasionally).

That's what I've heard works, and I've heard rumors that wearing clothes they gift you might help as well. It's still random whether they give it to you or not at any given moment, so just keep doing what you're doing and hopefully it'll happen.

I gifted her a lot of items and clothing she liked I guess? And talked to her plenty. I never wrapped anything, and I’m awful at keeping up on letters, but I got it from her after I gifted her an item instead of the usual gift of bells/clothing/furniture.

I don't have the guide book yet and I'm just wondering if gifting them specific items may increase chances of getting their photos.
I usually try to avoid giving them items as I don't want them to clutter or ruin their houses (though they tend to display the clothes I give them so I guess it doesn't make a huge difference... lol).

I gifted her a lot of plants (Gifting her a hanging terrarium was actually what happened right before I got the photo) and also some clothes she wears a lot (but also some she just hangs on her wall.... lol). I didn‘t worry too much about clutter because she‘s in the default uchi house and I’m testing out if I can get her to swap out furniture ;w;

I tend not to worry about cluttering their houses, I always gift them furniture that I think would fit and they usually only display a few of them at a time anyways. To me their happiness is more importance than their neatness!

You can hang the villager photos up on the wall? That's great to know! I kinda regret letting Shep leave without having his photo. Oh well, at least I took him to Harvey's cabin and got his poster.

Did she say anything when she gave it to you? I can't remember but for some reason I feel like they had specific dialogue about giving you their picture in earlier games. Filbert gave me one the other day after I gave him a long locust, but it was just like he was gifting me any random shirt or furniture item as far as dialogue goes.

Pretty sure it was the same as usual, the exact quote was "Well, one good deed deserves another! Here, have Tammy's photo!"
