Tambourines

So, I gave a few of my villagers, namely Punchy and Rolf, tambourines. But I've never seen them use it. Punchy sings by the radio on my plaza. Rolf sways to the music. But they never used the tambourine.

Is there a way to trigger them to use the tambourines? Do villagers even use it? I've only seen Harvey use it.

I don't think they can... I gave Lionel one a while back as he had the music interest, and he explicitly gave me a dialogue saying he had no use for it and wouldn't know what to do with it... I was quite disappointed too

Even though I've gave a few to my favourite villagers, I haven't seen any of them use it even once sadly. It seems they are all ceiling gang

I'm guessing the pan flute and ocarina are the same then...
Oh man, wasted opportunity, especially for villagers with a music hobby.

Nope, I've never seen any of my villagers use a tambourine. The only time I did was when my only two villagers at the time gathered at the town plaza by the bonfire in the very early stages of gameplay.

Haven't seen it. They mess with stationary objects though.
