I came across this method of making villagers leave where you talk to them so much they stop talking to you and get a black cloud in their heads. Do that a lot, and they will want to leave in some days.
I found this method much better than ignoring, because I am too curious to see their dialogue and I couldnt ignore them heh
I did this to Chops, I talked to him until fatigue like 3 times a day, for more than a week. Well, he didnt want to leave, but I ended up liking him, so I guess it worked in a weird way. LOL
Now I'm trying with Rocket. No sucess. And I can't keep doing this because her dialogue deeply annoys me.
Anybody had sucess with this method?

That sounds interesting, I would also prefer doing this than ignoring them, there is one achievement where you have to talk to all your villagers per day to make progress so it would be a pity to not get them just because you dont like one villager! I didn't try the method yet but I really wanna know how to get rid of a villager quickly without timetravelling..

Some people said that they manage to make villagers leave within 3 days, but I dont know the acuracy of this. I thought they might be onto something considering that the ones who ask to leave always seem to be the ones who you talk the most, and they do look very unsatisfied when you talk them too much. But I didnt have sucess, so... Idk.

From what I know, move-outs are completely random.
If you don't TT, you usually have to wait around 2 weeks between one move-out and the next villager wanting to leave.

Ugh, having to talk to Rocket at all, never mind until fatigue, is painful. I had her in NL and did a happy dance when she finally pinged to move.

I wish you luck.

I kind of do the opposite and it seems to work. I talk to all of my villagers until they're fatigued and I give them all presents, except the villager I want to leave. It's worked twice so far pretty quickly. Working on it right now with a third villager.

Came here to say this.

As far as anyone know, and for what's been observed, move outs are completely random, and it appears that there's not a single way to influence a villager to leave the island.

I really think this works. Because I talk to Sparro that much just because I really like him and he has asked to leave twice already (to which I said NO lol).

Yeah, probably people's experience is just coincidence. It's not very hard, consider you have only 10 villagers and one of them will want to leave at some point.

SOMEBODY WHO UNDERSTANDS. I despise her. I put her on a tarantula fence I made while waiting for Flick. Ignored her. Talked to her to fatigue. TT to get someone out. She just wont leave grrrr

Ohh, I see. They look so sad when I talk to them a lot, I don't know if I want to do this with the villagers I like haha But I do like to see their dialogue, so I might try it out for science

Yeah a lot of people say that! The one I talk the most is Mac and Static, but they didnt asked to leave once. Ahhh I wonder if it is just random after all....
