So in my day to day life I constantly burst out into song over the silliest little thing. For instance if anybody mentions vacation I will start singing "vacation's all I ever wanted, vacation had to get away!" I only notice it more and more these days with my boyfriend that this is constant and we both do it all the time! Sometimes we interrupt each other from doing the same thing, or both do the thing together. I also constantly get quotes and pieces from movies or shows that come up into my conversation like nothing, in conversations that might not even have anything to do with the movie/show...

Just right now "Sweet Child of Mine" was playing at work and I just up and go "Bow, bow, I'm Derrrrrick and I can sing HIGH like THIIIIIIIIS, and I can sing hiiii-iiiiigh!" from Step Brothers... it just kind of happens...

So my question along with this is are there any quotes that you simply can't stop doing? When someone asks who you are on the phone with do you want to say "Jake, from Statefarm"? Do you spontaniously sing "Blinded by the Light" whenever you are driving with the sun in your eyes? Tell me about your quotes.

- When someone says "We're/I'm on the road..."
"To Viridian Cityyyyy. Meet lots of friends along the way."
Actually, the mere thought of traveling ocassionally makes me sing the song.

- Holding my phone and someone asks me who I'm calling? "Ghost busters!"

- When my referee bf tries to get people to go to wrestling shows by saying "Be there!"
"B-b-b someone. B-b-b something. Be there anytime!" Cue awkward 80's dance moves.

- When someone says I'm a nerd. "No, I'm not a nerd. I'm a specialist."

Whenever I'm going under a bridge tunnel, a darkly lit ride, or haunted maze/house I sing the secret tunnel song.

Two lovers
Forbidden from one another
A war divides their people
And a mountain divides them apart
Built a path to be together
(And die)

Secret tunnel!
Secret tunnel!
Through the mountain!
Secret! Secret! Secret! Secret tunnel!

my mum yells it out of the car when she drops me off to school to embarrass me.

well whenever i'm on the road and i'm on a big ass bridge, the song 'dust in the wind' from final destination 5 starts playing in my head kinda disturbing really

Another one my boyfriend and I both do a lot is the "Jesus this, Moses that, Abraham hit me with a whiffle ball bat..." and then the little thing he sings right after from Little Nicky the other day we did it right at the same time and we couldn't stop laughing. We're def soulmates.

AND "I've got a very particular set of skills..." from Taken... all the time...

Any quote from Spongebob. Seriously.
There's a Spongebob quote for everything.

Me and my friend always quote Spongebob lol, but I think it's because we were both obsessed with it in primary school together. "IIIIIIII'm rrrrrrrrrrreaaaaaaadyyyyy!" is probably the one we say the most, usually in Philosophy class when we're trying to motivate each other because it's just too hard to get through those lessons without falling asleep. "I'm ready! Promotion! I'm ready! Promotion!"

Most stuff that Yoko Ono has made as for songs. She's got a damn nice songwriting with short quotes that stick.

When I watched Easy A from Netflix, the song "pocket of sunshine" (i think thats the name) sticks in my head for like two straight days!

My dad and I quote pretty much every line from the whole 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas' live-action by Jim Carrey.
Like. Seriously. No matter what situation you're in there is a Grinch quote that fits it.

Whenever I'm about to do something adventurous or risky, I say "let's get dangerous" from Darkwing Duck

Whenever my dad and I are doing something fun, he goes "ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?" like in the movie Gladiator

Whenever someone eats the last bit of someone else's special snack (my family has all our own individual snacks), we usually quote "of course you know, this means war" from Bugs Bunny

If someone's trying to catch something and gets hit with it instead, my dad and I look at each other and crack up going "well, he got it" (also from Bugs Bunny)

Whenever someone says something completely obvious, I say "I myself fancied that such was the case." (From the Hornblower novels)

I kind of live for media quotes xD

DO IT. DO IT.

Ben Stiller in Starsky and Hutch.

I do this all the time. When a driver won't go first at the 4 way stop, I say DO IT. DO IT, in this really low voice.

When I want my daughter to clean her room, or want the dogs to go outside., etc, etc. It makes me laugh everytime. It never gets old to me.

My dad and I quote "Dude, Where's My Car?" pretty often. We've been doing it for years :P

I think if you just randomly yell "everybody clap your hands" like they do in Cha Cha Slide everyone will know what to do lol

My girlfriend has been playing "the rose" over and over again these days, and that specific sentence, "Some say love, it is a hunger, an endless aching need" just won't get off my mind.
I do like the song though.
