So I bought one of these for 130,000 bells (!!!) today at the Nook shop, however I've found it's not customizable which I was hoping it was - looks like there are different colours online and Pashmina appears to have a red version!

So I'm wondering now - can I get different colours through chance of appearing in the Nook shop or no matter how many times it appears will I always get the same colour (similarly to the Nook Miles items)? And is the dark brown wood version at all popular when it comes to trading or am I not likely to get another colour in exchange?

other colour variants can show up in your nook’s cranny - it’s entirely random, though aha. as for trading, i bet there’s people out there who’d love to catalog/trade yours in exchange for another colour - you never know until you try aha
