Symbols on pre-order bonus cloth/Diving

Ok so I just watched this video

and in the video, he shows the pre-order bonus cloth with symbols on!

There is a whale tail on there! He thinks there may even be a whale NPC! ٩꒰ʘʚʘ๑꒱۶

This made me think about diving!
If there was a Whale NPC, then what if the camera, when diving, follows you underwater? ?˖✧︎◝︎(⁰▿︎⁰)◜︎✧︎˖?
That way we could gather more materials for crafting, collect rare treasures and catch sea animals...
What if we could have a mermaid tail to stay underwater longer?
They have mermaid furniture so AC have at least acknowledged their existence! ⸌̷̻ ( ᷇๑ॢ˃̶͈̀ ꇴ ˂̶͈́๑ॢ) ⸌̷̻

He also talks about the picture of a sailboat - but Kapp'n usually takes us

I'd like to also have a sailboat for our own use so we can sail with our villagers!

He also talks about the lighthouse and I'm hoping it functions in the same way it did in ACGC
we could nominate a responsible villager to run it so we don't have to!
I'd like to be able to go inside it! (○︎-艸･)*:ﾟ･☆︎

Ooh, very neat. I hope the message in the bottle within the corner of the cloth means they’re coming back from Wild World! New Horizons would be the perfect game to reintroduce them.

Speaking of diving, I’m surprised we haven’t seen any diving in the game so far. I wonder if it’s still in the game?

I just love how AC fans are dissecting every bit of info that comes out. I never would have noticed the whale tail and assumed it was just decoration. I hope there's a whale NPC, and your ideas are very creative!

I forgot to mention about the bottle! Haha I used to love reading the messages and sending them off!
I hope we can dive in rivers too this time and paddle in all water areas!
