Survey: Cloning [Closed]

I think that cloning animals and such is terrible.

Why won't people let the Earth work the way its supposed to?

Well, it's not supposed to be warming up and killing off species, now is it? .

That being said, I'm not pro-cloning humans, we've got enough a-holes in the world. :o

I think cloning would be awesome. We could bring back dodos, dinosaurs (Probably the herbivores.), and other animals so we can research them more. And, doesn't anyone want artificial slaves?

Actually...

We did go through an age of heat... This time its just sped up.

I don't agree with cloning human individuals...but I'm okay with cloning body parts/organs/tissues to use in medical instances.

Would diseases spread more and more? Yes they would so more people would spread different types of cancer and other kinds of illnesses.
Excellent point! Diversity is a cornerstone of survival from diseases! Though cancer would not spread... it is not contagious... so yeah.

however I think of cloning as a step needed before even further genetic experimentation. Cloning would be a way to multiply the best of the species though. Imagine if there were more Einstien's to make more geniuses in future generations.

Now someone else mentioned cloning people for organs, there is most likely a way to grow an organ without an actual life being there, much as say we grow vegetables. Though this is still light years away we would never get there without cloning technology.

Yeah, I wasn't thinking clearly about the cancer. But I learned a lot of this from my class I take in school.

I am neutral in the matter. It could help somethings, like cloning organs for people who have organ failure, but then again the government could make an army of clones.

Note: I AM NOT TRYING TO REFERENCE STAR WARS EITHER

I'm neutral. It doesn't matter if its cows or sheep. If they take it to humans I would think something was seriously wrong. I don't want a second me.

Artificial slaves that think and feel on their own? They wouldn't really be artificial, they'd be another human.

I'm against cloning humans. I do however see where people can think that cloning would be really good and benefit medical research and development vastly with various organs, tissues, and body parts... but I don't think even dabbling in that kind of stuff is right.

I don't want another me.
