It's not racist really.

It has nothing to do with showing black people to be rowdy, crazy people. It is to show that a KFC can make all awkward situations better, as they put it.

To be honest, if you were in a room full of other races, religions etc. surely you'd feel slightly awkward?
But, it's the fact that it's KFC he gives them that makes it really racist.
It's not racist though-it has nothing to do with the fact that black people are in love with KFC or it's the only thing that calms them down.

I think it's showing that everyone loves KFC so much that it calms them down or whatever.

It may look racist, but I don't think KFC meant it to come across in that way.
Read this Josh, I tried to explain what I thought was going on.

Yeah I understand the advert why, but why didn't they use an animal like a monkey (Don't think..)?

I can see both sides of the argument, really. It could very well be considered racist, based on stereotypes involving black people and fried chicken. But I could also see the whole "It helps completely different people connect and come together" thing.

But yes, Kolvo's commentary made it all the more funny.

So what, now if your black you can't enjoy KFC without it being called "racist"? Who is really racist here?

I think the controversy is that there is only one white guy and more black people.
But your race has nothing to do with you enjoying KFC - Chicken

I don't think the ad was meant to be racist at all. It's just that someone has to say it once and it snowballs.

Yeah that's what they probarly intended.

I like how one of the two people presenting the commercial was black. After the commercial, the girl said "You know what comes to my mind after that commercial? Racist." And then after that the black guy just mumbled "<small>yeahracist</small>"

A bunch of blacks took some chicken out of a bucket? No its not racist, it's demonstrating how widely avaliable their food is.

This is not a sterotype because every living being likes fried chicken. It is like saying, "HONKYS LOVE TO DRINK WATER LOLOLOLOL"
