I'm curious to know what's the best way to use Super training to max a stat.

As in do you want to keep doing training/bags until a stat won't go up any higher or do only want to go up halfway on the bar on the right, as it seems that max for a stat is higher than halfway up the bar.

Also I hear hordes are a good way to get lots of EVs.

Just keep doing the training and punching bags until the stat won't go any higher. It caps at 252 per stat. The max for a stat is less than halfway up the bar.

Hordes are faster. Assuming a horde of 5 Pokemon that give 1 EV each, you will get 5 per battle. If you have the appropriate power item equipped, you will get 25 per batte. With Pokerus, that doubles to a whopping 50 per battle.

You need the internet to check what hordes give what though. I prefer super training even if it is slower. Don't just dump 252 into one stat though. Do calculations, work out what your pokemon need and benefit from. You don't have to do 252, you could spread 140 in some stats as well.

Each pokemon can recieve a maximum of 510 EVs from super training, with the max per stat at 252 as Karla said. Choose your training carefully ^^.

Not to high-jack the thread, but is a glaceon with a really high special attack stat(233) good? I mostly focused on raising her special attack because I know glaceons are special attack pokemon(aka special attack snipers); which can be nasty if raised properly.

233 stat at what level, nature and EVs? Glaceon's strength is certainly in special attacking, though it's still vastly outclassed by other Pokemon.

She's lvl 70 currently, her base stats are maxed out already. I'm thinking it might have been good to put some focus onto speed as well.. she's kinda slow as hell on her feet(119 speed). Nature is mild, don't know what the IVs are though, as I didn't really breed for any special IVs[as getting a perfect IV roll on a female eevee would be a royal pain if you ask me]

oh, and I do know she's easilly outclassed by other pokemon; buuut glaceon is my absolute favourite pokemon.
