Super Smash Bros. Universe - Character Roster?

It may end up being Sylveon that replaces Lucario, but I kind of hope not.

Something that I would see as cool is having Reshiram and Zekrom. They could have some kind of gimmick about their switching, I'm not sure yet though. But Reshiram could have long range attacks and be faster, while Zekrom could have short range attacks, and be slower, but stronger. Final Smash could be Kyurem.

That being said, it wouldn't happen. They aren't going to advertise gen 5 Pokemon when they could advertise gen 6. Plus, the whining about gen 5 Pokemon would become insatiable.

Yeah. Chances are it'll be another Lucario clone, like Zoroark was.

Except it'll be 6th gen.

Sylveon has been filling the role of the Lucario clone though. The Lucario clone is usually the one overused in press released and was invented to be strong, and be good in publicity. Sylveon is currently doing all those things.

I actually don't want them to have Sylveon or the Lucario clone. I'd rather have a brand new Pokemon instead of just slightly tweaking and reskinning Mewtwo.

I predict there's going to be a Zoroark Pokeball that turns into the opposing character and attacks them for a short amount of time.

Honestly I just thought Sonic was... (I wouldn't say a 'waste') but more or less Sonic didn't really fit.

I didn't really "mind" Sonic, but he should be tweaked if he's going to be put into the next game. In the last one, it kind of felt like he was just thrown together. He didn't even have different alternate skins, just alternate shades.

I'm all for them putting in third party characters, but they have a huge amount of first party they can use.

I was just thinkin' about this thread at like 1am last night (b/cos i have no life)
I wouldn't mind if they replaced Jigglypuff with Munna. Both are round and can put opponent to sleep. The move pool could be similar but be different to account for the differences between the two.
tbh I like the Pokemon in the game, but I'm over Jigglypuff.

Replace Jiggles with Munna.
Pokemon Trainer with BW Pokemon Trainer (Emboar, Dewott, Snivy - or Oshawott and Servine)
Lucario becomes Zoroark
Keep Pikachu but possibly update its move pool

Also obv Mario and Luigi will stay, they should update their move pools to be different since they're pretty simular (pretty sure i spelled that wrong)

With Luigi's Mansion making a comeback, instead of his B move being green fireballs, it could be the vacuum which acts like Kirby, but just sucks up and spits them out again - not attaining their B move.
Stuff like that should happen to make duplicated somewhat unique.
