~ Super Smash Bros. Universe - Character Roster? ~​

Greetings fellow TBTers. I was just thinking about the announcement of SSBU and was wondering about who I would like to see make an appearance as a playable character. Who would you like to appear on the newest Character Roster for SSBU? It is possible that the official Character Roster will exceed 30 or less so there is room for a variety of players and/or styles.
I would like to see some character's be more unique in moveset and physics so we decrease the annoyance of clones. Jigglypuff and Kirby... *shudder*...

By depleting clones it allows more character match-ups to be interesting and thus, thoroughly more enjoyable.

I would like to see Mewtwo make a return, but still keeping Lucario in the roster too. What about anyone else?

I made a post a while back exactly like this. Regarding the getting rid of clones for the sake of adding in unique characters.

Jigglypuff though isn't exactly a clone. It's similar to Kirby but they have different movesets. As much as I hate Jigglypuff in any SB game, I don't think getting rid of it is needed since it's one of the only characters that are completely unique.

I'd like for Midna to be a character. As much as I find this impossible for the fact she's in one game, and it's as old as the Wii, I still wish it would happen.

Also, hate on Jiggly all you want but Kirby get souped up in Brawl. Melee Kirby was terrible, but.. yeah. I always play as Kirby and hardly ever lose in Brawl. xD

Haha, yes, Phoenix Wright! But Ace Attorney is owned by Capcom, and considering Phoenix was in Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom, it's very unlikely.

I would like to see Pit again and some FE: Awakening characters. I can't really think of much at the moment.

Midna would be an AWESOME character to add. I'd like to see Marth for FE:Awakening in there too. (The girl Marth) I couldn't tell you any other characters because I haven't really thought about it, but those characters would definitely be cool additions to the series.

I'm still going with wanting a majora's mask Link, even though it will never happen. It will be designed like the Pokemon trainer, but it can turn into a Deku, Zora, Goron, and Fierce Deity.

Never will happen, but I'm always going to believe I came up with a good idea.

I apologise for copying your thread Gallows, I didn't mean anything by it, nor did I intend to bump a old thread. I didn't know your thread existed, so sorry about that.

But anyway, yes, Midna would be a awesome character to play. Perhaps she could partner with Link in Wolf form.

Ok, glad you're good with that.

One other character I would like to see is Ridley. There has been some discussion on this so it is a possibility. Perhaps he will be shrunken down to a smaller size.

i do really want Sora and Roxas in the game though. I just think the other characters have a better chance.

It may end up being Sylveon that replaces Lucario, but I kind of hope not.

Something that I would see as cool is having Reshiram and Zekrom. They could have some kind of gimmick about their switching, I'm not sure yet though. But Reshiram could have long range attacks and be faster, while Zekrom could have short range attacks, and be slower, but stronger. Final Smash could be Kyurem.

That being said, it wouldn't happen. They aren't going to advertise gen 5 Pokemon when they could advertise gen 6. Plus, the whining about gen 5 Pokemon would become insatiable.
