Super Paper Mario

I was wondering because I always see this game out of "Great Wii Games" lists, but I actually like this more than I liked Super Mario Galaxy. Felt like a perfect mix of platforming and RPG greatness.

This game is actually the game that made me get a Wii, and I didn't regret it.

I actually was playing this game tonight.

I have to say, I didn't like it very much when I played it the first time. I missed the RPG style of the Paper Mario series, but as I was playing through it the second time it started to grow on me. Can Intelligent Systems do any wrong?

And yes, I think SPM is a better game than Galaxy, but not as good as TTYD.

No wonder I liked this game, but not more as the two previous Paper Mario games. The platforming element of Super Paper Mario actually made the game lot easier and faster to beat.

The boss fights in SPM were extremely easy. I was fighting the giant dragon in the Overthere and it took about 3 hits to kill.

Yeah, I liked PM2 more overall, but I have to say SPM was a great game in it's own right. I will concede the music in PM2 is indeed better.

@ Yeah it was pretty easy, but for the most part I had really no trouble with anything in the series (except the final boss in PM2) Speaking of Overthere, Chapter 7 is my all time favorite Paper Mario chapter, traveling from hell to heaven as Mario was pretty awesome.

I liked it, don't get me wrong, but it's just not the same as the two previous Paper Mario games. As for it being better than Galaxy, the two games were close for me, I dunno which I think is better though.
