Wow that is so epic!! I wish the U.S. got stuff like this, I think awhile back if you preordered Splatoon you got a squid hat in the UK too, is that right? I wanted one so bad haha! I'm really excited for Mario Maker nonetheless though, it looks like a really fun game.

Yeah... My two preorders for Splatoon were stolen in that lorry heist and so I did not get an Inkling Hat upon launch date.
HOWEVER... I know people in stores and a local GAME store gave me two Inkling Hats for free without a preorder required and then GAME HQ sent me two extra Inkling Hats in the post for free as well.
So I effectively managed to get four Inkling Hats AND the Inkling Squid from elsewhere.

Did they ever catch the people that stole all that merchandise?
I never heard anything about them getting caught, but I sure hope so. Especially when they were already short on Splatoon amiibos as is and then THAT happened. Whoa

I really wish mario maker was on the N3DS.. If it was I'd play it like there's no tomorrow
I'll probably pre-order the regular version. I really couldn't care any less about the Amiibo with this one. It looks neat but it ain't something I want.
Though it's also the only way to get the giant mushroom item. This is the part where I see it as rip off ?10-?15 DLC.

I probably just buy the game and the amiibo as well. I don't really care much for the other extra stuff that comes with.

This item on the Nintendo UK Official Store has now sold out in all t-shirt sizes
Sweet, I'm not going to buy it though.
I bought the 3DS and Wii U super mario bros and was V disappointed with how much of a copy+paste they were. The entire side-scrolling mario games are starting to grow really boring for myself and many others.
I hope this is the last game in that "theme/genre" of mario games.
