Super Mario Bros. Makes #1 on IGN

That's right. Super Mario Bros makes the number 1 game of all time on IGN. Metroid and Legend of Zelda got 3 in the top 10, but none could compare to the classic that is SMB.

Super Mario Bros. is my number one. I still pick it up all these years later. It's probably my most-played Virtual Console game (and I have like, 25 Virtual Console games :lol.

Metroid? That game was okay, but not great. It obviously deserves top 100 but maybe top 50. Super Metroid was a much better game than Metroid...BY FAR.

Wow, GTA at #1? That wasn't really influential. I bet a lot of people will be mad about this. And whatever happened to The Sims? IGN did a pretty bad job if you ask me.
