Pokémon Sun&Moon: What'd You Name Your Starter?

I tend to stick with the default Pokemon names, so Litten stayed Litten xD

Got all of the starters now but my boyfriend didn't ask me what to name them so I have to wait until later to rename them. *cries* I think I want to name my Litten after one of my late cats, but not sure about Popplio yet.

Lol, I also named my Yungoos Trump. XD My starter is Poppy the Popplio. ^_^

Am I the only one that doesn't give their pokemon nicknames? ;^;

lol this is how i feel, i never give mine nicknames. i used to but not anymore. i won't be naming mine when i get the game on christmas

I never nickname any of my Pokemon, ever since I was a child. I just think that the name they come with suits them the best, and also it's a good way to learn their actual names as well, when being introduced to a new generation

Tbh I am not a fan of nicknaming my story mode team but I when decided on Litten I was actually thinking of nicknaming it "Dean" or "Seth" after my two favorite wrestlers of course. I think I may actually do that now that I know where the name rater is but ehhh I don't know for sure. Plus I have no clue what to name my other teamates.

I named my Rowlet "Wish" because it's the name of my OC that I've had for quite a few years who's an archer.

Named my Popplio "Hiawatha." It was the first thing that came to me really haha

My Litten is called Nyabuki, a combination of "nya" and "Kabuki" since Incineroar's shiny looks like Kabuki the cat villager!

When I start Moon I will pick Popplio and name her Lorelei, after Kanto's Elite Four member ^^

Crying real tears because you can't re-name traded pokemon, I wish I could have named my Litten and Poppilo but I still love them.

I called by popplio Bwarkbarian and my rowlet GreenSparrow

I named my Rowlet "Deadeye" because his final evolution is both an archer and a Ghost type. It's actually too good of a name now that I think about it... I might just use it for a shiny Decidueye instead.
