Suffixes

Hi! I really like the prefixes rain, deer, lily, silk and leaf. As you can see in another thread, I'm in need of a forest town name. But my main question is "What suffixes sound good?" And "Is the suffix 'wood' good to use, why/why not?". I really hope you can answer them for me

Although I do think wood sounds good as a suffix (thanks for learning me new word ), it may be a bit overused? I've seen many people use it, and you'd probably be more unique for choosing a different suffix. I like your prefixes by the way!
