I planted my first perfect apple and the tree grew but no apples showed up. I planted many apple trees and never got another one but my "mom" sent me one in the mail so now I have a bunch. I still have no idea why the first tree never had any apples on it.

I sold a few of the island items to ReTail in the first month of the game without realizing they weren't re-orderable. These were all items I didn't like but just got for catalog reasons, like Diver Dan. I should've saved those things to sell or trade someone here.

For about 2-3 weeks before I came to TBT, I thought all my apples were perfects. ><

I ate my first perfect apple on my first day in town D:
I put my police station in a terribly inconvenient spot, because I thought I could move it later.
I didn't realize there were different grass shapes, so I ended up with triangle grass when I want circle.
I didn't realize that having two ponds would make it harder to place... well, everything.
And I accidentally threw my box of tissues in the trash while I was cleaning out my closet.
Way to go, self xD

Sold my perfect fruit, had to wait months for my mom to finally send me one in the mail. It was before I started getting into the forums. Accidently letting Zell moved. Ugh. Build dumb Public works projects, just so I can eventually destroy them all/or good projects in dumb spots and had to move them, what a waste of money. And not buying everything from the Nookling's shops to upgrade faster.

Built the cafe close to an existing bridge, demolished said bridge (wanted a different style), and then raged at Isabelle when I couldn't build a new bridge there.

Chopped down all my trees looking for special stumps, not realizing that using a silver axe almost always results in a special stump.
