Stupid Error Code 010-0511

It works fine when i open my gates, but when i try to visit, i get the SAME DREADED ERROR CODE over again. I tried to visit another town - SAME ERROR CODE. Ugh!!!!

Has it been happening to you?

Yeah I have really good connection and all...but I tryed to trade yesterday for like a hour and this code came up multiple times :/

I've found that in some cases, for whatever reason, you can't trade with certain players because all you get is an error code. I never figured out why, but it's a thing.

I tried trading with Lady Loki from here and neither of us could visit each other's town. We could visit other people's town and other people could visit our town, but we just couldn't visit each other or even be in the same town together without an error! Eventually, we tried to trade in someone else's town who agreed to help us and we still couldn't even visit in another persons town together without an error. We ended up having to drop our part of the trade in this person's town that was helping us and pick up at separate times.

I'm not sure if this is the case; like if your trying to connect to one person or if you are having this error with everyone.

From what I got, this isn't 018-0511, right? According to the website this means there's no access point in range, but if you do get the first one, the IP-Thing on the page for that did the trick for some people.

This might be a coincidence but sometimes when my girlfriend and I have this problem switching the gates from Best Friends only to all people or vice versa fixes it

You can always try the old power cycles. Restart your router, DS, or refresh DS Connection settings
