Stripping Town?

I've been a bit unhappy with my main town recently which is about a year old. I didn't spend too much time on it the past few months, and a lot of villagers moved into places such as in the middle of my current paths... Has anyone completely stripped their town? Such as cut down all the trees, and remove quite a bit of public work projects and rearrange everything?

i did that right when i started my town in june! im working on getting all my dreamies placed perfectly, and i'll start placing paths and putting down pwps i have very few pwps up rn.

Yeah, there's not much reason to tear down an existing town unless you really, really love your layout

It's refreshing to start fresh!!

Yes, I've done that a handful of times before since my town has been around since 2013. What helps is to do it a little at a time. I found that trying to accomplish a lot in one day made me less motivated when landscaping and (re)planning PWPs.
