I've never gotten a legitimate Streetpass before.

I live out in the middle of nowhere and even when I go out I've never gotten one. The only time I ever get them is when I go to McDonalds and connect to their relay.

I live in a pretty populated area, so it surprises me that I don't get more. Even if I go someplace with lots of people I might not get any. I went to a big aquarium once and got 1 streetpass. I was kinda surprised bc there were a lot of people and lots of different ages. I expected to get a bunch from the kids. XD

But yeah if anyone wants more streetpasses, the places to go are like Best Buy, McDonalds, or Starbucks. You get the relay ones. That's how I get mine. Usually with McDonalds and Starbucks, I don't even have to go in. If I park my car close enough to the building I can connect. Keeps me from having to buy something, lol.

Well, I kinda take my 3DS with me everytime I go outside!
As I live in a country that doesn't have any Nintendo Zones anywhere, it can be kinda hard to streetpass - most of the days I get one or two tags - but I know for sure that when I take a walk through the oriental part of the city, I get loads of people!
It was fun when I had a job and took the subways - most of the time, I kinda streetpassed the same people who probably had the same routine, and made one or two friends because of that! Too bad I can't really talk to them anymore, since Nintendo took out the SwapNote service... *heavy sigh*

I love streetpass! I often streetpass others in ACNL but I never mean to. But I've gotten some pretty cool houses, And I order stuff from them all the time!

If you live near a Home Depot, that's the only place you need to go. I got my showcase filled up when I was going there regularly. I haven't felt the need to streetpass in a while, but I'd be hitting the Home Depot again if I did.

I use it every time I can. xD Mostly streetpass my best friend when I see her. xD I take my 3ds everywhere I go. lol Most streetpasses I got was at San Japan,(anime con) over 100. Hopefully I can get more this year when I go. xD Use it when I got to McDonalds for Nintendo Zone. I'm far away from everything so don't get to use it as much. D: I like to try to get pieces for puzzle swap and play find mii. xD​

i've gotten so many animal crossing streetpasses its not even funny. im almost close to filling up my happy home showcase, in fact. xD i don't even know where they're from! but i live splat in the middle of the most populated city of new york, so i guess it makes sense.

I live in Japan and every time I've taken my 3DS out I've gotten at least one streetpass. If I go to a mall or something I can fill my plaza with houses.
It's pretty fun but I'm not doing it anymore unless I have 10 villagers cause last week I got a random move in I didn't want.
Oh and I'm from New York city and used to play games on the subway all the time commuting to and from work. If I didn't get mugged there I doubt I'll get mugged in a Japanese mall LOL.

One word: conventions.


If any of you are looking for streetpasses, just like walk past a con. If you live in LA, you're in luck, AX season brings thousands of people doing their pilgrimage to the convention center, I'm pretty sure talking a walk during the week = profit haha. If you can get in, there's a whole section dedicated to gaming too.


That being said, I live in SD and people don't carry around 3DS a lot here @_@;

I usually take my 3DS with me while I'm out shopping, oftentimes I'll get at least one Streetpass. Although I did manage to Streetpass twice with someone, but I think it might have been from someone working at that particular Gamestop I was in.

When I went to the airport this past January, I took the 3DS and managed to get over 9 Streetpasses. None had New Leaf though.

If I take my DS with me to class, I can average around 3 or 4 people a day. Isn't college wonderful? c: (and that's not even going anywhere near the dorms...)

I take it everywhere. I even brought it to all the Disney World parks and on all the rides just for Streetpasses. It was scary that I might lose it, but I didn't thank gosh, and I racked up enough Streetpasses for the first badge.

Yeah I streetpass at least two people every time I walk to class. I passed by a hugeeee crowd of high schoolers coming out of school today and I streetpassed 3 people lol. I've also streetpassed a few people in my college, at least the ones I know play animal crossing on their commute. But I normally don't take my DS to school with me though since I usually forget.. and I am scared of losing it.

I always bring my 3DS with me for streetpass, especially during cons |D (anime/comic/etc)

I normally don't bring my DS with me, but when I go on bigger trips that require going to the airport, I usually Streetpass a bunch of people!

I take my 3ds whenever I go out, but the only time I've ever streetpassed anyone with acnl was at a walk-in clinic. It's hard to find people to streetpass in general around here, let alone people who have the game.

The best steetpass times I have is when I go to the airport. Luckily I go every few months so my streetpass is full. The unfortunate part is sometimes its just beginners and the house is just one room.

I really like doing the puzzles in the streetpass app. That's mostly why I love to get streetpasses. I get disappointed when I streetpass with people who only have a couple pieces, lol.

I bring my ds with me most of the time, and I usually have it in a little pouch in my purse or backpack! I usually get a couple streetpasses every time I go to a class, but I recently went to San Francisco and got 20 in one day! c:
