Streetpass

How many of you guys purposely use Streetpass? Have you ever gone out somewhere where you know there's loads of people and just bring your DS with you? And do any of you worry about losing your DS or getting mugged while you're trying?

I brought mine to the Bullring one time and I didn't even pass anyone Even when I went into the game stores and past all the geeky places, like, you'd even expect a little kid to carrying one or something, but it seems not. I've only ever Streetpassed two people and one of them is my little sister XD

I tend to use it if I'm going to a mall. Back when I had my first town, I ran into someone with full Regal and Roccoco sets. I wish I would run into them again, haha. I should have had my brother hold on to my furniture.

I almost NEVER get steetpass for ANYTHING!! I only got it once, for Kid Icarus Uprising. I got a weapon Gem for a 340 value Phosphora Bow, with 6 stars melee and 6 stars range, +4 Freeze, +4 Weakining, +4 Run Speed, +4 Fwd. Dash Shot, +4 Standing Cont. Fire.

I wish I could get more though......

I use it all the time but my area is apparently a deadzone so I never get a single one. Even if I go to Gamestop. I was literally right next to someone who had their DS on and closed, and yet neither of us got a streetpass LMFAO. It's such a ****ty system and Nintendo didn't add enough "Nintendo Zones" to even closely make up for it.

It's good in the way that I won't get streetpass villagers I guess and I don't even need HHA homes anymore because I have every item I want, but still. They're really dumb with this stuff.

I mostly just get them from the Streetpass Relay.

All the time. My HHA neighborhood has been full for a little while. I keep my DS in my coat pocket and have never been worried about theft tbh. I live in the Plano, TX area and the best places for streetpassing so far were the DFW Airport and Barnes & Noble.

I use StreetPass way too little. I've met four people, and I've had my 3DS since late 2011. I think it's a great function though, and I would love to meet someone who has also played New Leaf.

Turns out I have gotten about 50 tags on my Mii Plaza! And only one in any game.....Kid Icarus Uprising. I LOVE it SO MUCH!!!

Oh also my SO plays New Leaf so every time I see her, I get a new streetpass item, hah. Also I leave my DS in my coat and my coat in the lobby at work (at a restaurant) so once or twice a week I streetpass someone who brought their DS out to lunch or dinner or whatever.

I have never used Streetpass and it is all bit of a mystery to me.. though I'm guessing I wouldn't find many people anyway as no one I know plays animal crossing and most looked at me funny when I said I had a 3ds -__-

I Used to, until I realised it was wasting battery life. Never saw the importance of it anyway.

From people you've met IRL? You get "invitations" from playing with folks online and they're not really the same as a regular streetpass. They just fill up your plaza.

Don't do much playing online. (Stupid SuddenLink monthly limit of internet!!!!) I mostly got them from the relay points from McDonalds! A few are special ones, such as the ones given out through Wi-Fi during E3 and Nikki (who Whoever the note person is....)

I am still surprised that my one thing obtained for a game in street pass is so good. That is a darn good Phosphora Bow! (Which also happens to be my favorite weapon in the game!!! Phosphora s my favorite character, and I REEEEAAAALY hope she's in the new Smash game!

I carry around my 3DSs almost everywhere. I almost NEVER streetpass people. The only way I get them is through the Nintendo Zone hotspots.

And I guess the range on the original 3DSs is much smaller on the new XLs bc I notice my XL will get a streetpass and my regular one won't. I think I have to literally stand next to someone with a 3DS in order for my regular 3DS to register it.

I live in England but I get ten every time I go into a city or I'm travelling, and I normally get about 1-5 at university too.

I've never gotten a legitimate Streetpass before.

I live out in the middle of nowhere and even when I go out I've never gotten one. The only time I ever get them is when I go to McDonalds and connect to their relay.

I don't bring my 3DS with me anymore, but I used to get quite a few Streetpasses here and there. Mainly when I was in town (ranging from 2-8 or so) but also a few on my way to school or back home.

But yeah, I don't bring it with me anymore and I've turned my wifi off because I don't want any random move ins!

I get a few each week but of the 50 or so tags only 2 play ACNL I guess or at least there's only 2 using the HHA showcase but. It was great to start cataloging in those 2. I wish they'd let you order more than 5 items a day though.
