Streetpass balloons?

Do you loose streetpass balloons if you trip over while your holding them? I'm always scared to take mine out, because i'm scared my character will fall over and i'll lose the balloon. So, do they? Also, I feel like there should be an easier system of getting these balloons because if that's the case, then I think the way we get these balloons should be easier. Also the fact remains that people won't always have somebody to streetpass or can streetpass somebody easily. What do you think? is the way we get special items such as balloons fine how it is or should it be easier?

Yes, you do lose them. In fact, I lost a bunny balloon I really liked and I was like wtf? Luckily I've been able to find another person who gave it to me and I immediately put it in my pockets xD

Omg, after hearing that i'm never taking my balloon out again. I now constantly live in fear after hearing this. LOL, I really don't wanna lose my balloon I paid good tbt for it cx

Try buying spare balloons? Or just put it away when you run

I think the balloons are special items, including all the streetpass items. Not everyone is going to have them and I think it's pretty cool they are kinda hard to get. I remember the first time I saw someone holding a balloon and was researching online how to get one. Now, I have too many. I think it's fun to have special rare items in the game.

You can just unequip your balloons first then run around the town for a few minutes to see if your character would trip or not. If not, your safe to hold the balloon. If your character is unlucky, then just simply reset? Tbh I don't see a point in having a balloon if you don't hold it lol

Yeah, I only managed to get balloons from buying them on here. I'd love to be a sticky beak and look at streetpassed houses if only I had any. I do like how different items are available through different means, so I don't really mind that they're harder to get.

I didn't actually know people held items for appearance purposes until recently. It would annoy me too much to do that as I always use my tools.

You could always wait to see if you're unlucky and falling over before taking out a balloon to hold.
