Streetpass Badge

am i the only one who hasn't gotten like one streetpass out of almost 5 years of playing new leaf? i understand that people can bring their 3ds to like conventions and stuff (or just places where a lot of people will be at one time) but i never go to conventions and don't really plan to.. i dont live near the city so it's almost near impossible to get a streetpass. I've brought my 3ds to many many places before and always have just ended up with 0 at the end of the day.

I've collected almost all of the badges over the years and there's always that one empty spot in my TPC which is the streetpass badge.

i'd really much rather have another badge to do than the streetpass. what do you think of it? do you think it's too hard or even easy? If you were to pick another badge to replace it what would you make it?

I never go out, and if I did, I wouldn't take my console with me.

That badge, and all badges that require internet should be removed.

I live in the middle of nowhere and 90% of my street passes were from my boyfriend who I share a house with, or my friends who have brought their 3DS's over... However, there is a random child who named themselves "I" that I'll randomly get a pass from every once in a blue moon, I'm assuming when he brings his 3DS to school or something cause a group of kids congregate near my house to get picked up by the bus.

The most I ever got was when I brought my 3DS to my friend's college and around a bigger town, like to mall and stuff, I got a substantial number, I also got quite a few going to a Welcome To Night Vale show in SF, so bringing it to a con or something would probably get you lots and lots, but I know the feeling of living nowhere and hardly getting them...

I hardly ever got streetpasses also but then I found out that you can setup a streetpass relay on pc so that you can get streetpasses at home so now its easy for me to get streetpasses

When the game first came out I got some streetpasses. Later I bought an extra 3DS and found that I only tagged myself so I stopped taking them out. The summer before the update I was very lucky. Someone living nearby started tagging my 3DS twice a day. With that person tags and my other 2 3DS I was able to complete 3 mayor streetpass badges. I think the person was using a home streetpass set up on their PC. It tagged me every 8 hours.

The streetpass amount should have been lower for NA players. The weeding badge is another that is a pain to get if you have beautiful town. I'm lucky and have a few spare towns to grow weeds for my real towns.

Yeah I'm not a fan of it either cause I can never get any new streetpasses like I used to a few years ago and there wasn't alot either. Does having another 3ds help?

In all the years I play New Leaf, I never even got the bronze badge for Streetpass. I live in a big
city where you kinda expect or more like hope that you maybe get some Streetpasses. And sure,
I got some, but it was never enough to like I said even get the bronze badge. That's why I don't
care about this badge at all, because I gave up to ever get it. Kinda sucks to be honest.

Does having another 3ds help?

As far as I know, another 3DS would help.

The only time I really got streetpasses was when I had my 2nd 3ds going. Since I don't go visiting often, I'll need to boot that up again, both to get the badges and to unlock the train station upgrade.

No I don't have it and I doubt I'll get it anytime before 3ds is dead lol. I mean there are some ninty zones people that play but I don't think I've passed them enough to get that bronze badge at least so I don't really try. I mean I do take my n2ds xl with me when I can but it's not that I go hardcore ninty zoning everyday lol

Nope, I've yet to streetpass a single person, yet alone someone who also owns ACNL. And this is coming from someone who reluctantly takes his 3DS outside.

I think it all depends on where you live. I got ACNL last August, and I've had maybe.. 10 streetpasses? A few more or less, but most of them are from college. I did get a streetpass from someone who had some orderable DLC stuff which was pretty neat c:

totally not enough for a badge, lol. 100 is pretty high even for a game like this.

I don't own a PC, and do everything on my mobile, but data costs me a fortune.

I don't like internet in games, and prefer to play a solo game.
I don't like to interact, but am forced to, if I want to do things like upgrade my train station.

I did it, but it cost me more than I could really afford, having 100 people visit.

I guess in that sense, that's really the only way you can get streetpasses. :/ They could have updated and changed a few badges.
Badges are suppose to be fun to acheive, this though gives me a headache trying to figure how to do so.

I started taking my DS with me to airports and walk down as many terminals and gateways as I can on my longer layovers, hoping to pick up a few streetpasses. Out of the 225 streetpasses I've gotten from this and having it in my bag around town, I think like 14 had ACNL. RIP to anyone who wants to get the gold, let alone the bronze.

Do you have to actually go up there and get the gift and look at the homes or is it just automatically counted every time it registers a ping and turns green?

I plan on eventually going to another convention to fill mine out. I got to silver after going to just one and bringing my ds.
