Streetpass badge help

I haven't got any badges in my town yet but im working towards getting all gold (its gonna take forever). One of them I know that I'm going to struggle with, is streetpass. Does anyone have any tips on where to go? I'm going to disneyland soon will get any hits? If I go to a town I would be lucky if I get 1 streetpass for AC. Thanks

In order to get StreetPass the people you are StreetPassing with have to have New Leaf AND have their StreetPass settings turned on.

When you go to any busy place, keep checking to see you have under 10 people, but I make sure for Animal Crossing that the notifications tell me that I have no more than 6, because that is how many you can get up at the top of the hill in the Plaza at one time.

If you get that many, go, open your game, greet them, and then save and quit. Then go walk around Disneyland some more!

It is really weird where you'll find StreetPass, specifically Animal Crossing Street Pass. I got a full day recently once - just walking around Costco (2 people!) and then 4 more at a Home Depot. It's rare, but at Disneyland you have a good chance!

Oh - one more tip - just in case you have multiple people living in your town - make sure your house is the one that is chosen as the Street Pass model house. I had enough to get bronze once, and it went to the alt character who I wasn't working on badges!

Disneyland will probably be a really good place to get streetpass as its a large location with hundreds of people. At least a few of them are likely to have new leaf! I streetpass most at conventions, large cities, and sometimes airports! Airports are especially good because there likely to be a child with a 3Ds! So make sure to have your DS on wherever you go, because every little helps ^_^

Like others said, airports, large cities, conventions all can provide passes. The largest streetpass turnout I ever get is when I go to conventions, even local ones bring me passes when I hardly ever get one in my neighborhood. Most days I just tag my other ds, which also works but takes forever.

they used to have "streetpass relays" in the USA inside McDonald's restaurants, Home Depot (hardware/home supply store), and some Starbucks. I dont know if they still do it though. were those also in the UK? basically, those "relay" locations would save the streetpass data of like the last ten plus people that had passed it, then when you pass it you get those ten streetpass hits.

Don't forget it's not just 1,000 tags, it's 1,000 NEW LEAF tags. You can tag someone, but if they've never played New Leaf, you're SOL on getting a tag for counting toward that badge. The only way to know if it's for New Leaf is to either check your indicator in the message list to see if a New Leaf tag showed up, or if you're playing the game, go to your Happy Home Showcase, all your New Leaf tags will appear in the showcase, either as updates, or new people. Good luck getting it, I had to do it using multiple systems, but believe me, when Phineas shows up and gives you that badge- jubilation!
