Street Pass Suggestions?

(Urf, hopefully this is in the right place...)

When I restarted my AC:NL town a while ago, I lost all of the people in the HHA Showcase. In other words, I have no one to buy items from anymore! It's a hassle to rely on the Nooks' store, because they only have four pieces of randomly generated furniture every day. Shaking trees and hoping I get those two pieces of furniture is also pretty hard. I also need specific colored furniture too, so that makes things twice as hard.

So I need help getting more people to fill the showcase using Street Pass. I plan to bring my 3DS with me when I go out, but I would have to get lucky and hope someone just happens to have a copy of the game on them as well as their DS. Any suggestions?

You can always make buying threads in the Re-Tail section.

True... I suppose it would be easier to ask for unneeded furniture.

Put your wish list on Re-Tail. Lot of people giveaway or trade/sell reasonably. As far as street pass look up Nintendo zones in your area. Good way to load up.

Hmm...do you live in a city with a major university by any chance?
I usually get tons of streetpass hits on campus every day, much more than when I just go downtown. You could always just walk around on campus and hope to get some tags for the HHA showcase that way c:

But, as others have suggested, it would probably be quicker and easier (if considerably more expensive) to just use the Re-Tail forum to get your furniture back :3

Go to a public place like a game store, or a mall. I get at least 5-10 streetpasses every time I go to my local mall.
