Strange orb in my house.

I walked in to my house today in NL and startled there was a floating orb in my house which dissappeared straight after. Any idea what this is?

Maybe it was a cockroach that you just killed. When you walk over them, a cockroach-ghost will fly up. I suppose that's what you saw. Was it white?

It was yeah! It just dissappeared. As soon as I walked in the house I had an exclamation point above my head.

in that case, definitely sounds like it was a cockroach you killed, since when you walk into a room that has cockroaches, your character will have an exclamation mark abive their head to show surprise
