Story of Seasons will be released (eShop) in Europe on December 31, 2015

We're happy to announce that we'll be bringing Marvelous' Story of Seasons for Nintendo #3DS to Europe in Q1 2016!

I'm looking forward to playing this game. I've never played a HM game before and considered picking up A New Beginning, but then decided to wait because I figured "you never know, it might come to Europe one day, after all". So yay for that, LOL.

Wonderful news! I have not picked the game up yet myself(I live in the US), but I've been a long time fan of the Harvest Moon series. You'll love it.

So it seems the game will actually be released on December 31, 2015 (Amazon UK has it for that date and the eShop as well, nothing on Amazon France, though). Price (eShop, that is) will be 39,99 EUR which is pretty much what I was expecting.

I hope that is the actual date and not a temporary one. Many websites default to December 31 (such as Amazon and GameStop) for games with undecided release dates. However, as we're closing this year it seems like it could be a real date. It sucks you guys had to wait this long, but it's definitely a great game. My main complaints about it is the frame rate is pretty choppy and the camera angle isn't the best. Nonetheless, I have around 90 hours put into it.

I'm a bit "eh?" about that date, to be honest, but Fogu lists it as December 31 and from what I understand that site is like -the- source for Harvest Moon news and what not. I looked it up in the eShop and it does say December 31 there as well, so I'm hoping that is indeed the correct date.

Aaaaand I just checked Amazon France and there the game is now listed for December 24 so I'm completely lost now, LOL.

Congrats, kiddos! However, I'd like to point out that not only is 31/12 a placeholder date in electronic systems, but they said "Q1 2016" so that probably IS a placeholder date. However, I sincerely hope it comes out in time for Christmas over there!

So instead of December 26-28, I'll be receiving the game December 22-23 (I checked and it says it was sent today). Also, I'll be paying 35,28 EUR instead of 39,99 EUR (the price went down to 34,99 which I pretty much had been expecting). So it'll be an early Christmas present, haha.
