My Life in GoldRose part 1
I arrive by bus to my new hometown of GoldRose. I went to the townhall and introduced myself to the workers and the mayor. " Ummmmmm hello. My name is Cynthia. " I said.
The mayor was a turtle named Tortimer.
When I told my favorite animal was a Turtle and that I respected the Mayor of any town alot he seemed happy.
Phyllis and Pelly were the sister pelican's who worked for the civic center and post office inside townhall.
Pete was the name of the boy pelican who carried and delivered the mail everyday.
I found Phyllis to be abit harsh when she spoke to me.
" So what do you want? " said Phyllis.
" Big sister.... please be nice. " said Pelly.
" Forgive her please Cynthia. She's nice once you get to know her. " said Pete.
I just smiled at them all. " I'm moving into town. I'm sure I'll see you all again. " I said.
Pelly hands me a town map and tells me to go look at the house marked Vacant on the map. I left the townhall and went too look at the houses.
I ended up meeting all my neighbors as I looked at the 4 vacant house which oddly were spaced out through the town. I picked one close to Nookington's to go inside and look at.
A knock on the door and a raccoon walked inside. " Hello I'm Tom Nook. You must be Cynthia. By know you probably noticed that your the only human currently living in GoldRose. I am hoping that will change soon. " said Nook.
" Yes I am. I did notice that. I hope to make alot of friends among my neighbors. " I said.
Tom Nook smiled and showed me around my house which had 2 above ground levels, an attic and a basement.
" This is great, I'll have to decide what furniture to put in each room. I'll probably just put a bed and nightstand in the attic. " I said.
" Good idea, I can have those items put in tomarrow. Of course you will have to stay with a neighbor until you have your own bed to sleep in. Oh there is a mortage to pay off too. " said Nook.
He gave me a paper with the price of the house on it.
" Wow that's higher than I thought. " I said.
I sighed as I looked at my bag of money in my pocket knowing it wasn't enough to buy the 1million bell house.
" You don't have to pay it all of now. Pay it off slowly using the ABD at townhall. " said Nook.
" Oh, an ABD. Glad you have that here. I can get the money I need from my account than and pay the mortgage off soon. " I said.
" Oh that's good. Well if you ever need bells you can come work for me doing odd jobs. "said Nook.
" Oh thank you. I'll remember that for when my bells are running low. " I said.
Nook said goodbye than went back to Nooking's which he ran with his Nephew's Timmy and Tommy.
I went to townhall and register my house in the local map than pelly gave me a new map that would update as villager's moved in or out of town.
I went to the ABD and transferred the 1million bells to pay my mortgage off.
I than took out 30,000 bells to keep on me incase I found furniture for my house a Nooking's.
I found a a lovely sofa, table, and lamp as well as a matching wallpaper and carpet.
That left me with around 20,000 bells which I used to buy clothing at Able Sister's tailor shop and went into the city.
I got my hair done at Shampoodle's Salon than went the check out Gracie's Grace.
I used my ABD card to buy the whole Sweets Furniture series.
I also got a Bridal gown and veil for if I ever got married.
I walked over to a shoe shining skunk named Kicks.
" Walking around got your shoes all dirty? I can shine 'em up nice for 500 bells. " said Kicks.
" Sure, I'll let you shine my shoes. I really wish they matched my style though. " I said.
" Oh I got shoe styles in my pad that you might like. " said Kicks.
" Really? " I said.
" Let me go grab a few pairs. " said Kicks.
He walked into the boarded up building that he'd been standing infront of.
I watched and waited for him to come back.
Kicks returned with 4 boxes and let me look at the shoes.
" They are all kind of cool. Ummmm any chance I can just buy all 4 pairs off you? " I said.
" Sure you can. 200 bells each? " said Kicks.
" Alright, I can do that amount. " I said.
I paid him 800 bells for the 4 pairs of shoes and 500 bells to shine my old shoes up.
" Thanks Kicks, see you again. " I said.

I got on the bus back to GoldRose.
It was dark when I got home.
I put my Sweets furniture series in my main living room downstairs and put the lovely sofe, table, and lamp in my second story guess room.
I put my dresses on hangers + my new shoes on the shelf below them in the Sweets closet.
I put my tee shirts and pants in the sweets dresser top right drawer + my hair accessorys in the top left drawer.
I smiled as I walked outside to look at the stars.
I vould tell that I was gonna like this town already.
I knew everyone was going to wonder how a girl like me had that many bells in her ABD account.
I'd have to explain about my rich family to everyone tomarrow.
