stitches won't change clothes?

i got stitches from someone but he's wearing the icy shirt instead of the star one. i sent him the star tee two times already which, apparently, should do the trick, but he keeps using it as furniture instead of wearing it! what should i do?

yes, i did try reporting it to isabelle.
even if i keep clothes in my pocket he doesn't try to buy them or trade them.

This bugs me. Kitty got a shirt from Punchy that just did not suit her. It took me a few tries but she finally changed into one of the one's I sent.
It's a pain, because I sent Walker a shirt and he put it on the first time.
Just keep sending the shirt. Tell him in the note "I think this would look great on you" and "I hope you love this gift I got you."
