Still in your original town?

I have had the same town that I started with when I first got the game the very month it came out. ^-<* I bought a 3DS and everything just for this game huehue~

There have been many times I've wanted to restart my town, see characters I haven't seen yet, have a better "town fruit" than my dumb pear, have a more convenient layout

But then I go sit on the tree in the plaza, and all the "memories" make me so emotional~ :,) I can still remember when I first got the game and I was worried I would never cover it in brightly coloured flowers and beautiful designs and have a lovely mansion everyone can enjoy like I do now

I realise it's just a bunch of pixels but I've become so sentimental and proud of my little town. Has anyone else held on to their first town this way? ^w^

Yup. I still have my town from around release date.

I would never think of resetting my first town. I started playing as soon as it was released. I understand where you're coming from. I still have all my original villagers. I will never let them leave, but I wanted to meet new villagers. I ended up getting another copy, and it was fun meeting new faces. I let a ton of them leave ( gave them away ). Then I started decorating the new town. You may not want another copy, but you could redecorate the town and let some villagers move so you could meet some new ones.

Buying a second cartridge seems to be popular, I will have to look into getting another one so I can have a town to just go crazy in hehe ^u<

I still have my town from first day of release in NA I regret absolutely nothing. I also thought I'd never be able to upgrade to a mansion or cover my town in beautiful hybrids lol, but now I have a beach and museum full of them xD I am very proud of myself for keeping up with my town ♡♡

I've reset at least 7 times, so I'm definitely not in my original town. I sort of want to download the game to my DS as a second copy, but I still wouldn't be able to trade my items to myself I think, so that would be pointless.

I am not in my original town and I only miss the villagers I had when I left it. I started that town some time before I joined this forum in 2013. I've only reset twice one of which was about two days.

I still have my town from the very day the game was released. There are some things that I could do without in my town, but I've cultivated it into what I have now so there is no way that I could restart now. I love it even if it has bad placement of rocks and too many ponds rofl

Yep! Going to keep my original town forever. I have been extremely lucky (my file gave me 2 out of 3 dreamies through random move ins, and my map was actually really good even though I had no idea what I was doing).

Houses are all over the place and some stuff isn't symmetrical, but that's what I love about it. The town is so me

I haven't played it since before NL came out, so I'm not sure. I'm scared to see who's left, lol.

Yes, It's an amazing experience! and everytime I acknowledge those small imperfections in my town, I can't help but feel happy ♡ Imperfections are what make you and your town beautiful I just wish everyone could see that and be happy with their first towns as well ; n ;

I bought it the day it came out and I played intensively during that summer.
However, due to informatic system problems (I have the in-built version) I lost my town in September.

It took a few days to get over that and started working on a new town medio Sept '13. Still have that one today.

I have my town from the day it was released here in Ireland. I love having it but i do want to start afresh, but rather than deleting it with all it's memories (me and my best friend were wandering around town at 7am waiting for the shops to open IRL xD ) I've bought a new game cartridge because I can't bring myself to reset it
