STEVE JOBS IS DEAD!

It's sad that he died, but it doesn't really affect me. Rest in peace doe
 
I think its sad he died, I didn't even know about it until I logged onto the internet. My homepage is the apple store and they had his picture up. First I thought it was cause he was retiring but I guess not:(
 
He retired a couple of weeks ago though. I think he knew he was gunna die real soon.
 
I knew he stepped down cause he had bad health. It just surprised me he went so fast... I really didn't expect him to go for another year or so... I guess I'm the only one shocked?
But Rest In Peace, Steve. I am typing this on one of your creations, and I want to say thank you. You were a brilliant man.
Even though iTunes SUCKS.

Though he never treated Apple as a job, he loved doing what he did and I find it admirable that he stuck with it all the way to the end. Even when he retired he insisted he would stay on the board.

r.i.p., sad to see someone so influential die. it'll be interesting to see what apple comes up with, now that he's gone.

A brilliant man, with awesome inventions dies. It's a bit disappointing, happening so soon after he retired from Apple.

But today's Apple isn't all he was...

CEO of Pixar, commercialised the mouse and graphical user interface as well as pioneering typefaces for computers, PC and Mac alike. None of this would exist if it wasn't for Good ol' Stevey.

Not to mention what state the phone and tablet would be in if it wasn't for the iPhone and iPad, there's no objecting that every other company copied those devices, and while I prefer the Android platform over the iPhone I know it wouldn't exist if it wasn't for Steve's original idea for the iPhone.

Right of course, I completely forgot about Pixar here. Most people who I talked with today who brought him up only talked about Apple, didn't even have the slightest clue about him working at Pixar and even Atari.
 
I've only really owned an iPod touch in terms of Apple products...but you can't deny the influence this man had.
