[STEAM/MMORPG] Star Trek Online

Yup, I play STO (Star Trek Online). I have an interest in it as I grew up watching it (Bought the whole Voyager set for my Birthday to). But tbh it's not what people think. I've had people immediatly jump the gun and go "WTF NERDY BULL**** LULULULULULUL" when really it's not. I admit a knowledge of Star Trek as a series is helpful as it stops you getting lost so badly and being like "Well wtf?"

It's a big game, full of stuff to do. I got some screenies ****** from it to show what it looks like, and btw I'm still on my craptop so those are the LOWEST graphics.

You begin with being able to make your character, choosing from a Canon alien or completely making your own Combo. You always begin as a Federation character (Klingon/KDF is when you hit level 27). The game is pretty cool in how you can change your character's armaments, your teams and your ship. As well as they're outward appearances. It has quite a good basis for those who enjoy RP with a good 'Bio' section you can use to fill out a quick bio for people to RP with you.

Worth a go. I should point out you don't NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED steam, but it helps for the community side.

As a Star Trek fan, I've been sort of interested in this game for a while. I understand it recently became free to play, right? What exactly is the gameplay like? I generally find MMORPGs pretty dull, but then again not all of them are Star Trek themed.

Now that I think about it, this game is probably only on Windows anyways.

I think it is windows only. Idk you need to check.

The game play is good along with the graphics, I thought it would ruin the whole Star Trek series but it actually made me like it. Plus it is reasonably FTP, you can buy Credits for better stuff but you can just earn it IG with MANY hours of play XD
