static will literally not move. ive tted for a year, please help...

im trying to get him to move into my other town and he has not asked ONCE. every single one of my other villagers have asked tons and tons of times, and ive tried everything.

he is the 10th villager, idk if that has anything to do with it, like if they cant move out until one of the others has... but wouldnt everyone have taken advantage of that by now somehow? or at least known about it?

ive tried every method ive heard of: 2 days forward 2 days back, then when that didnt work i would just go forward, then someone told me to do that thing where you make a new character and introduce yourself to everyone but then never talk to the one you want out again... that was the last thing i tried, and now im back on my main character, but nothing. nothing!!!!! AUGH this is by far the most stressful thing ive ever had to deal with in ac.

i really REALLY need him out by the 20th, and im in the middle of feb, 2014 rn... can someone please help? im desperate...

ah also id like to know if i can tt back to the current date without anything happening? or mainly without anyone moving? when i eventually hopefully do get him out if this isnt some kind of glitch id like to just skip right back to today since i heard you could do that, but i dont wanna lose anyone so can anyone confirm what to do??

If you make a new character and try that route, you DO have to introduce yourself and THEN never talk to them. After a week or so though, they'll never ping, so it's easier to move out characters you are good friends with. It just took me two in game months, three IRL days to get Biff out. -_-


As long as no one is planning on moving when you go back, you can do it all in one jump safely. Backwards travel counts only as one day no matter how far you go, if it is done at once.

i have been talking to static on my main character and we are friends, but.. still nothing aaaaaa

I don't know if that's true or not. I've not tried to kick out a tenth. But under 10 I know you can kick out the last one you got, so I don't see why not... There's no way they just become a permanent resident.

Have you ever talked to him? The most successful method I've done is introduce myself (say when there moving in etc) and then not speak to them from there. I'v gotten rid of all the villagers I don't want this way-and obviously speak to the ones I do want.

it took me like two or three weeks to get henry out...

but he just asked to move today. first time he's like 'like we need to be better friends lol' but i quit out, talked to him again, and now he's actually moving FINALLY

i have no idea like, im not sure if since static is my 10th if before he can move i would have to move one of my other villagers out? but yeah, people are saying that theyve gotten their 10ths out... grr i just dont know ;n;

and also if that was the case with fang, theres no way you were like super close to him after 2 days right? and yet he still asked to move... so that kinda takes out the "get close to static" option...

Yeah I wasn't super close to Fang. I did talk to him after he moved in just like all my other villagers but I didn't give him special attention and I didn't ignore him either. I personally think it's random who moves but some people claim certain things work for them. V_V So really not sure what to say...

i really would rather not get one of my other villagers out, since the only one id wanna move over to the other town is ruby, and to do that id have to cycle villagers... and im kind of having the same problem there too, only to a lesser degree. u__u ugh

I have the same problem with Tucker. He was my 10th villager from a random streetpass and I TT'd into 2014 and he never asked once while everyone asked multiple times!

have you tried being better friends with him? i know that villagers i'm on friendlier terms with move out more frequently than the ones i ignore
