Starbound reviews?

Has anyone played starbound.It reminds me of Terraria,the art style.Just wanted to know your thoughts on the game.As far as I know,my friend told me there are several races that you can pick from,and that sounds interesting.

its actually one of my favorite games ever. if you like crafting and exploring and collecting, you should get it. its extremely beautiful. its not finished yet but you can see you they keep expanding the world and adding more things. i really like the direction its going in.

Did they ever finish the game? I own it and loved it, but it feels very incomplete especially if you compare it to Terrraria, and they're asking more than Terraria. It also got extremely repetitive. In additoin, during my experience, they stop updating the game and eventually aboundon it. I remember the community freaking out about it until one day they came back just to release the nighty builds. It's been 2 years and it's still not complete.

I personally wouldn't recommend it at their asking price of 15 dollars especially since it's on early access. Get it on sale or buy a different game.
