Under the Shop tab, there is the ABD. You can store your bells there. There used to be interest but it’s disabled because it got exploited by some people back in the day.

I think it’s preference more than anything. I store my tbt out of habit because I got used to old neopets days where you can lose your money at hand if you don’t stash it in your bank lol. Plus I have poor self control if I see I have a lot of money. ; ;
