I’d love new items but right now I’m using my miles to stock up on NMT.
i feel the same unless friends want my color variant.

I have 89k plus miles and I have nothing to use em all.
I used to buy the occasional streetlamp, but once I decided to use stone lanterns instead of streetlamps there was nothing I was really buying anymore.
I think it would be great if they did add new items, it would be cool if they added some stuff like the amenities in pocket camp.

I was hoping with this summer update there would be more besides the snorkel and diving suit, so yeah, I’d like more to be added though I wish they’d let us customize them for the variations.
I would love a carousel even though I don’t know how i’d use it.
I would like an anvil and a forge; it’d be more fitting as a diy workbench but even for just decoration, I’d love that.
A display box or bag with wallpaper flooring or carpet like the store window have and saharah carries around, or a cabinet like the one we buy from in Nook’s cranny (this would probably be more fitting as a regular piece of furniture than Nook Mile).
A windmill would be nice for those with countryside/medieval/farm theme. There’s a lighthouse, so why not a windmill? I need an armored horse monument or something (though I could just use springy ride ons) and lance to complete my homage to the novel Don Quixote.
Still waiting for those suit of armor black/gold/silver variations from HHD - whether as Nook Mile items or as a furniture.
A magic portal or time machine would be kinda cool.

you can kind of form a suit of armour by crafting the pieces but it doesn't display properly. I wish they had a mannequin that i could fit all the pieces to it. I tried indoors too with the helmet placed on the wall and it still feels clunky.

That's what they could do! Sell mannequins. That'd definintely use up some mile for a good amount of people. And you could switch clothes from them. Do you want to wear this outfit? Yes. Spin and there you go, outfit switched.
I've said it before and I will say it again: This game does not know any 'high tier' villagers. That's a label that the community pushes onto certain ones, the game itself treats them all as equal. There is no list in the code that says "Hey, this one villager is worth more than others" and having one would never work because this is purely a subjective thing. ;D
At best, they could add islands that are bound to a species... Being able to tell the game "I want to go to a gorilla island" would certainly help people look for their favourites.

I’d think they’d probably link it to personality rather than species (one ticket takes you to a “hip” island that only has smug villagers for example) but yeah, I could see adding tickets that narrow your search being a possibility.
Ah, that would work even better! I still wonder how they would sell them though. Tickets worth more than normal NMT? One ticket for every personality, or just more dialogue for the dodo? Imagine the chaos in the trading boards
