edit: Since I don't want to make another post, can someone tell me what that heart next to your encyclopedia and TPC is on the bottom screen? Is it a mayor-only thing? Because I'm not the mayor and I don't have that yellow heart button.

That is your best friend list. If you don't have the button, then you have not added anyone to the best friend list. Your town's 4 characters have separate lists, so if you want someone to be best friends with all your characters, then you have to meet that person as each of your characters and add them each time.

Yeah, when I found out I had finally gotten the axe, I was really happy. I only had like a third of all the trees cut down, so it really helped.

I have no idea how many Saplings I've purchased, but I think it may be around 30 or 40. Every time an axe is available in the store I buy it since I'm paranoid about running out, even though I really never use them. I hope I don't wait until I get Emporium to get it.

silly thing is, I don't even need it. I never cut down trees. I just did it because...it's shiny /shot

luckily, now I have both a silver and golden axe, one that never breaks and one that always produces pretty stumps :3
