Sprinkling Rain?

So i tried to upload a picture but it kept failing, but anyways in my town today around 1:30pm I logged on to find rain, but it was very light and the clouds were pretty spotted and the sky was fairly blue? In all my years of playing, game cube to new leaf I'd never seen this type of weather before. Anyone else experience this? I've only ever had thunderstorms or just flat out normal rain.

I didn't even know that was rare it literally always happens in my town. Thunderstorms are kinda rare for me
