Spooky Season Plans? 🎃🧟‍♀️

Happy October!

Is anyone doing anything fun or spooky this month?

I don’t do much except watch horror movies and eat candy corn but this year I’m hoping to switch things up. I want to carve and paint pumpkins, decorate my room and have a Coraline movie dinner night with my boyfriend!

Hmmm, I don't think I have much planned yet, other than sewing a little halloween themed mini-quilt (if you can even call it that), and maybe getting a few new indoor Halloween decorations... I will probably watch some spooky movies too!

I don't particularly know about plans yet but I do love the atmosphere between October through December. It's my favorite time of year.

I haven't entirely got proper plans per say for the whole month.
But I do plan on playing some spooky video games, maybe read some books of mine that are mystery or horror ish.
I also would love to do some art - inktober as some know October as, and maybe get one of my mini DIY's started?

For Halloween, I always get pumpkins to carve, watch some movies; always start off watching an animated film called 'The Halloween Tree' then 'Hocus Pocus' and other things~
I'm so glad Halloween is on Friday, so me and my mum can start earlier.

I found a nice Halloween-y necklace thing, and plan to have my cat wear it, and pose for a photo or two. XD

I've never actually had candy corn before!

I'm going to make orange and purple paper chains that I can reuse in the future as a first step !! Also a while ago at a protest I somehow came home with an entire roll of police tape ('police, do not cross line' tape bahah) so I was going to use that to decorate the house in lieu of the fake crime scene tape so many shops sell. There's something ridiculous and funny about having real police tape across my house just for decoration.

I've been feeling super festive about every holiday this year and I'm scheming with my roommates to go big in the flat with the decorations.

Read some Poe and Lovecraft
Play some survival horrors
Watch some horror movies

That's pretty much how I celebrate Spooktober month.

I'll probably carve a pumpkin. Not sure what I'll do. I've done one for the last 4-5 years and I hope to keep that tradition going. I've been doing more detailed ones. Last year was King Boo, for two years I did a boo, some symbol for my favorite game but it didn't turn out as great, and a 1-up mushroom. I'll probably try something else this year.

I plan to watch a lot of Halloween themed movies like Hocus Pocus, Beetlejuice (never got around to the 2nd movie) and so forth. Maybe play a game like Luigi's Mansion. Maybe replay the 3rd!

I might watch any Halloween specials on television and buy and eat some candy dollar tree is where I normally get it from.
